Prime Minister Kosor says new cycle of public investment to be launched

ZAGREB, March 12 (Hina) - Croatian Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor said after meeting representatives of the national employers' association HUP on Friday that this year public companies would make investments worth HRK 12.6 billion and that capital projects worth close to two billion kuna would be additionally financed from the budget.

ZAGREB, Feb 25 (Hina) - The government is going to help first-time home-buyers as well as those wishing to sell their smaller flats to buy larger ones with subventions ranging between EUR 100 and EUR 300 per square metre, depending on the price of the flat. The longest time term for the repayment of loans granted for this purpose will be 30 years, with a maximum grace period of 20 years, according to a bill which the government sent to parliament on Thursday.
