Prime Minister Kosor meets speaker of National Assembly of Republic of Korea
ZAGREB, Jan 13 (Hina) - Croatian Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor held talks with the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea, Hee Tae Park, in Zagreb on Thursday, and fully supported attempts to preserve peace and stability on the Korean peninsula.
Kosor and Hee Tae Park expressed satisfaction with the good and friendly relations between Croatia and Korea, and advocated the strengthening of cooperation, notably in the economy.
The talks also focused on tourism and the economic sector, in which cooperation could be intensified. Kosor briefed Hee Tae Park about the possibilities Croatian sea ports offer for the transport of South Korean goods to the markets of central and southeast Europe.
Congratulating Croatia on entering the final stage of its EU entry talks, Hee Tae Park voiced confidence that cooperation between Korea and Croatia, as the 28th member of the EU, would grow stronger.
