Prime Minister Kosor holds talks with French official Pierre Lellouche
ZAGREB, Feb 18 (Hina) - Croatian Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor on Thursday morning held talks with Pierre Lellouche, the state secretary for European affairs in the French Foreign Ministry.
Thanking the French people and government for its support to Croatia on its road towards the European Union membership, PM Kosor said that Croatia was committed to its top foreign affairs objective and that Zagreb wanted to complete the EU accession negotiations by the end of this year.
She said the economic strengthening of the country and the anti-corruption struggle were also priorities of her cabinet in 2010.
State Secretary Lellouche praised the Croatian premier's determination to continue with the anti-corruption drive and to see to it that Croatia becomes the 28th EU member-state.
He said Croatia's entry into the European bloc would be an encouraging message to the entire southeast of Europe.
He also expressed satisfaction with progress in the Croatia-Slovenia relations.
State Secretary Lellouche will represent France at the inauguration of the third Croatian president Ivo Josipovic.
