Sessions of the Government


The Prime Minister shall convene Government sessions, propose the agenda, chair the meetings and sign the acts the Government passes.

The Prime Minister shall convene Government sessions, propose the agenda, chair the meetings and sign the acts the Government passes. The first part of the session of the Government shall be open to the public, while the second part shall be closed.

The agenda for the meeting shall include legislative draft proposals which have been previously debated at the meetings of a competent Coordinating Committee. The Prime Minister may propose that the agenda be amended to include other issues that have not been debated by a competent Coordinating Committee.

Apart from members of the Government, the Head of the Office for Legislation and the Head of the Public Relations Office shall also take part in the session of the Government. Other persons shall be invited as necessary to take part in the debate on particular items on the agenda.
