Ministry of Economy, Labour and Entrepreneurship
Ministry of Economy, Labour and Entrepreneurship carries out proactive employment policies and does administrative and other tasks related to: industry, except food and tobacco industry; shipbuilding; energy industry; mining; crafts; co-operatives, except agricultural; small and medium sized entrepreneurship; trade activities; trade politics; domestic production protection policy; economic cooperation with other countries; inclusion into European economic integrations.
Ministry of Economy, Labour and Entrepreneurship does administrative and other tasks related to: coordination of activities related to the Republic of Croatia membership in World Trade Organization and participation in multilateral trade negotiations taking place in it; stimulation of exports and foreign investments; founding of and running of free trade and entrepreneurial zones; systematic stimulation of entrepreneurship, state of the market and its trends; supply and prices; consumer protection; strategic reserves of the goods; privatization of shares and stakes in trade companies owned by the Republic of Croatia; restructuring and rehabilitation of legal entities.
Ministry of Economy, Labour and Entrepreneurship does administrative and other tasks related to: regulation of terms of employment; labour market and employment; relations with labour unions and employers organizations; legal employment status of Croatian citizens working abroad and tasks related to their return and domestic employment; legal employment status of foreign citizens working in the Republic of Croatia; work safety; international cooperation in the area of jobs end employment; system and policy of pension and disability insurance.
