• Born in Knin on 16 April 1964
• Married with two children

Education
• 1996: Earned his Doctor's degree in social sciences/economics at the Faculty of Economics, University of Split
• 1990: Earned his Master's degree in social sciences/economics at the Faculty of Economics, University of Split
• 1987: Graduated from the Faculty of Economics, University of Split
• 1982: Finished secondary school for business administration in Knin
• 1978: Finished primary school in Knin

Political Career
• 2007–2011: Elected to Croatian Parliament, member of the Economic Committee and the European Integration Committee
• Member of the Central Board of the SDP
• Chairman of the SDP Council for the Economy and Regional Development
• Member of the SDP since 1999

• 2010: Permanent full professor at the Faculty of Economics, University of Split
• 2005–2010: Full professor at the Faculty of Economics, University of Split
