• Born in Zagreb on 13 April 1961
• Married with one child

Education
• 1992: Earned her Doctor's degree in humanities, Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Zagreb
• 1988: Earned her Master's degree in humanities at the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Zagreb
• 1984: Graduated in comparative literature and philosophy from the Faculty of Philosophy in Zagreb
• 1980: Grammar School, Zagreb
• 1976: The 7 SKOJ Secretaries Primary School

Political Career
• 2005: Vice-chairperson of the HNS city organisation in Zagreb
• 2001-2005: Member of the City of Zagreb government responsible for culture
• Chairperson of the Interest Board for Culture of the HNS
• Member of the HNS since 2005

Professional Career
• 1984: Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Zagreb, Department for Comparative Literature
• Simultaneously with her scientific and teaching activity, engages in opinion journalism, publishing and editing activities: first as editor for culture in Studentski list and on Omladinski radio (Radio 101), and then as editor in the periodicals Gordogan, Vijenac and Zarez.

• Published several dozens of professional papers
• Published 10 books (6 scientific books, 3 books of essays, and 1 book of poetry)
• Awarded the Order of the Knight of Literature and Art by the French government in 2004
• Member of the Croatian Writers Society and Croatian P.E.N.
