  • 1991 president of Crisis Committee for Ilok – Homeland War participant from May 1991 until April 1992
  • 1992 – 1993 assistant of Commissioner of Government of the Republic of Croatia for Vukovar Municipality with headquarters in Vinkovci; responsible for contacts with UNPROFOR and other international organizations
  • 1993 – 2001 member of HDZ County's Committee
  • 1993 – 1997 Deputy Mayor of Ilok – active participant in work with Croatian Refugees Community and member of Board of Directors of CRC
